When Bush Comes To Shove ( 0) Printer friendly page Print This

There’s another tsunami forecast for this fall, but there won’t be any water involved. This disturbance is of a judicial nature and what cascades will not be waves. ‘Tis the season to be indicted, with the neocon/Israeli spy cabal first to trial, followed shortly thereafter by that of Tom DeLay and his pals. Next up are the flurry of indictments expected to be handed down from Patrick Fitzgerald’s peek into the Plame case, which has enough links to other crimes to make Oscar Mayer feel inadequate. At minimum, there’ll be at least one count each on the heads of Karl ‘the fat eunuch’ Rove and Cheney’s henchman Scooter Libby.

Let us contemplate for a moment that the top aids of Bush and Cheney and the most brutal House Majority Leader to come along in a while could soon be in jail. Many believe it’s unlikely, but we’ll get to that later, somewhere near the end of the day. Rove, of course, would be voted most popular newbie since he’s got plenty of practice. Scooter, on the other hand, would get that frumpy look on his little face wiped right off it. As for Tom, we'd get to find out how bad his ass really is. All these joys might accrue when Bush comes to shove.

When you realize this crowd has been in cahoots for most of their adult lives, though ‘adult’ may be problematic for some, their deep ties suggest Grand Juries will be a cottage industry. So let us examine the whole cast for indictments, pending or probable, and what we have is a much longer article than even I had expected. We begin with Larry Franklin, and American Israeli Political Action committee head Steve Rosen and his assistant Keith Weissman, who will face trial soon for, in effect, espionage. The twist in that plot is that more important than secrets Franklin brought out of the Pentagon, which were substantial, is what he took back in after meeting with Rosen. Rosen is a big time gamer ‘ thrives on power for its own sake ‘ and he’s a single issue lobbyist: taking out Iran.

So like Chabali fed the phony intelligence into the systems via the infamous Office of Special Plans, Rosen got the stuff in with his boy Franklin. We are already enjoying the fruits of this little tag team being under indictment in that they aren’t able to push their obsession in the corridors of power while they are busy preparing for trial. Additional persons of interest in this case include Harold Rhode, David Wurmsur, Michael Maloof, Col. William Brunner and the former Israeli Embassy’s chief political officer, Naor Gilon. The latter is conveniently back in Israel and will not be seen again in this country because Israel never extradites anyone but Arabs.

Also under indictment is Jack Abramoff and his partner Adam Kidan, and their man at ARMPAC Warren RoBold. This ménage-ŕ-trois have many legal swords hanging over their necks. This probably will include conspiracy in the killing of former business associate Gus Boulis, due to the stupidity of how Kidan moved the money for the hit to the mobsters who have been arrested for their part in the episode. He wrote a check.

An unrelated Abramoff difficulty that will likely lead back to the White House is the replacement of then federal prosecutor Fredrick Black just as he was about to draw up indictments on Abramoff regarding his lobbying irregularities. His scam, like that of Tom DeLay, is to use his enormous fees to feed into the Republican Party, mostly off the books. That goes a long way in getting what you want out of this Congress and administration.

For his part, Hammer Delay is only under State level indictments, along with a couple of his henchmen, for conspiracy to circumvent campaign finance laws. Since much of that cash no doubt came from out-of-state sources, almost certainly there will be Federal involvement. Again, the blessings flow immediately as his poisonous influence wanes in the House. It is probable that since his usefulness is likely over for Rove, he’ll be thrown to the wolves by the White House.

Speculation is surging in the countdown to the indictments being drawn up by Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald in the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame. While it is focused on Rove and Libbey, there is also credible talk of this one blowing wide open because of the peculiar power invested in a prosecutor of the Special kind. Bulldog Fitzgerald can run with the ball in any direction he likes, and recalling that the CIA set this series of plays in motion many months ago, you can bet they have fed their man some tasty tidbits. The most obvious trail that the Bulldog has likely sniffed out is the source of the forged documents that were fed to the administration, leading to only one of the many lies that led us to the gates of hell between the rivers in yon Iraq.

That scent goes to sunny Rome where the stationary on which they were rather crudely presented was stolen from the Niger embassy. As one can imagine, there were a lot of Fascist leftovers when the party ended for il Duce, and they congealed into a different kind of Mafia that has deep ties to Israel. This crowd is apparently not to be trifled with, and likes to operate on political turf. They now wish they’d gone to a more upscale forger.

Closer to home, Fitz can comb over the records of the disbanded Office of Special Plans in the Pentagon. It manufactured intelligence no one else in the CIA could come up with legitimately, then took it straight to Rove and Cheney, a process delightfully called ‘stovepiping’. While the DeLay-run House declined to take up the matter as first promised, then delayed, (heh heh) regarding this shabby episode, the Bulldog is starting to sniff the whole pack of neocons that took part in this charade they called ‘intelligence gathering’. Here we have a conspiracy to knowingly present a bogus case for war on a country that was not a threat to us, but as Kean Komission Komisar Philip Zelikow has publicly stated, Israel.

Is anybody seeing a pattern here, or is it just me? Virtually everyone listed so far is well understood to have greater loyalties to the Israeli state than to ours. Every crime they are accused of relates directly to the use of the US to fight their enemies, the first time on record for a client state to take over the business of the US Government. Regular Americans are going to find their image of Israel challenged as never before, but that is because they get only one side of the story. But we tarry, and the list is long.

Next up is the redoubtable Bill Frist. Apparently the SEC is about to pounce on this arrogant and scary creep. Think of him as the Dr. Mengele  of this bunch of fascists. But he’s in dutch for selling off a pile of shares in the huge HMO founded and controlled by his family just before a bad quarterly was due. His mea culpa that he was trying to prevent a conflict of interest with his focus on healthcare matters before the senate rings a bit hollow when we learn that over 10 years intervened between the day his senatorship began (with the last two serving as its President Pro Tem), and his sudden conversion to propriety. These people clearly think we’re idiots in expecting us to buy this sort of crap.

This is ridiculous, folks. How much closer do the dots need to be?

I was going to put my whole cast of criminals in the line-up, but we’ve done run out of wall. Looking at my notes, it suddenly becomes clear that I am better off, as is the dear reader, if we cut to the chase, forthwith.

The Rove/Cheney axis of socio-pathology has slammed into a depleted uranium wall. They were too arrogant to send the kid out to talk to Cindy Sheehan. Now that I think about it, the kid would have just blown it, so they were put in a corner. They whipped up a couple of hurricanes and steered them with a portable array of electromagnetic transmitters mounted on what look to be destroyer-size ships that are clearly visible on radar down by Corpus Christi as Rita turned north sparing Houston. I’ll bet Poppy and ‘Bleeding Heart’ Babs didn’t even leave town, they just went into one of their bunkers in case something went wrong.

And for skeptics regarding this technology being in place, consider this: Two hurricanes in a row strike within 100 miles of one another. They tracked virtually the same path, both hitting Cat 5, all in less than a fortnight. What are the odds of that? Whether Rita was a planned child or not matters little, because its very likely that since the disaster that was the aftermath of Katrina was planned, the second baby would let them show how skilled they really are, after all.

But the fact remains, New Orleans is a military camp, and many of the gun-toters are mercenaries with shoot-to-kill orders. It has been systematically destroyed and effectively re-zoned. It will never be the same. And tens of thousands of our most vulnerable citizens, including many criminals, to be sure, have been set adrift far away into a completely different culture. It is a diaspora of shame that will plunge into the memory hole, if it has not already. And this is the master plan, stage one for the domestic front. Can we escape that fate? Only when Bush comes to shove.

I do not for a moment believe the Chimp-in-Chief has any real power on his own, but was picked to be the friendly face covering the Dick’s sneer. As a front, he’s eminently expendable, and it will happen fairly rapidly, because if the stench lingers too long, the 2006 elections will feature the greatest number of recalled Republicans in that party’s history. That may be a likely probability anyway, because at the present rate of popularity, which Bulldog’s indictments will pour ice cold water on, even people here in Texas are going to take those stupid little ‘W’ stickers off their massive trucks and SUV’s. When that happens, we will know for sure that Bush has come to shove.

If Cheney weren’t so compromised by the Halliburton affair, not to mention a little bribery problem, we might tremble in fear at the prospect of him taking over until his precious little ticker goes pop, whether in the due course of things or because of the strain of a trial. Who knows, he might want to ‘spend more time with his family’ and go back to Dallas. After the Dick, we have the disgraced DeLay in the line of succession, and they only have a temp sitting in, as will the next in line, the previously referenced Dr. Frist.

Guess who that leaves as the lucky one? I’ll give you a hint -- America would get its first woman and black president in the same stroke! Then the world will really shake their collective heads and call the boys in white.

So let the recriminations begin, the pointing of fingers commence, and the plea bargains to sound in the political vacuum created now that Bush has come to shove.
